Privacy Policy

MomentVite hosts personalized wedding invitation pages. That means we hold two kinds of personal information: what couples give us to build their invitation, and what guests submit when they RSVP. This policy covers both.

What we collect from couples

• Your order number and checkout email — used only to verify your purchase and to let you back into your editor.
• The wedding details you type: names, dates, venues, schedule, your story, registry link.
• Photos you upload for the cover and gallery.

Payments are handled entirely by Shopify — we never see or store card numbers.

What we collect from guests

• RSVP responses: name, attendance, party size, meal choice, dietary needs or allergies, and an optional message.

RSVP data is collected on the couple's behalf and is visible only to them. Dietary information is used solely so the couple can plan their event. If you're a guest and want your RSVP corrected or removed, ask the couple or email us.

How photos are protected

• Hidden photo metadata — including GPS location — is stripped on upload, before storage.
• Photos live in private storage and are served only through our domain; there are no public bucket links.
• Unpublished draft photos are visible only to the couple's own session.

Where data lives

Invitation data and photos are stored with Cloudflare (our hosting provider), primarily in the United States. Orders are processed by Shopify. We don't sell personal information to anyone, and we share it only with these processors as needed to run the service.

Cookies & analytics

• One essential, HttpOnly session cookie keeps you signed in to your editor. No password, no account profile.
• Our marketing pages use conversion analytics (currently the Pinterest tag; Google Analytics and Meta pixel may be enabled). Invitation pages themselves are private, marked noindex.
• We honor the Global Privacy Control signal and default all advertising signals to denied for visitors from the EEA, UK, and Switzerland.

Retention & deletion

Invitation data is kept while your page is live (see the hosting period in the Terms) and removed on a rolling basis afterwards. You can request full deletion at any time — invitation page, photos, and all RSVPs — by emailing [email protected] from your checkout email with your order number. Erasure includes the stored photo files.

Children

MomentVite is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
